Our Vacation Cabin Rentals are on Lake Lure, NC near Asheville & The Biltmore House in the Western North Carolina Mountains.
We are only one mile south of Chimney Rock Village and State Park.

amenities including a private hot tub on a covered screened porch.
Our cabins have been carefully placed on nine acres with your enjoyment and privacy in mind.

Cabin Amenities:
What Should You Bring?
  • In every cabin you will find the "Pine Gables Adventure Book" full of maps, menus, brochures, hiking trails, and other area information.
  • Luxurious Organic bed sheets
  • Towels, toilet paper
  • Full bathroom with toilet, shower and hair dryer
  • Queen bed
  • Full kitchen with pots, pans, bowls, spices, dishes, dish soap, aluminum foil, microwave, stove, fridge w/freezer, toaster, Coffee maker with filters.
  • Corkscrews, wine glasses and champagne glasses. The cabins with hot tubs have acrylic glasses!
  • Satellite TV, plus a DVD player.
  • A/C

The New Romantic Log Cabins also have:

  • Hot tubs, rocking chairs & picnic table on a screened covered porch!
  • Gas fireplace - no need for wood!
  • Gas grill - propane provided so no need for gas or charcoal!
  • Dishwashers. dish soap
  • Blender
  • Washer, dryer, and laundry soap
  • Groceries – There is an Ingles Grocery store five miles south on NC Highway 9. There is also a small country store about a mile east across the street from the Lake Lure Beach.
  • DVD's
  • Specialty kitchen gadgets - Please bring any specialty kitchen items such as:  crockpot, etc. We keep our kitchens fully stocked with the basics plus cutting boards, knives, etc, but do not stock specialty small appliances.
  • Personal toiletries - including shampoo.
  • Clothing - layers, rain jacket, comfortable shoes, hat, sunglasses.
  • For hikers - daypack, water bottles, hiking boots, compass, binoculars.
  • Good book
  • Camera (film, memory cards, and batteries too)
  • Maps
  • Wildflower and Tree ID books
  • Absolutely no smoking inside please! Ashtray for smoking outside on the porches only.
  • No bonfires, campfires, fire pits, etc. allowed on the premises. The risk of a forest fire is too high.
  • firearms and fireworks of any kind are not allowed to be used on the property.
